    That's why I bought a Vortex because that's what I could afford and I agree Nightforce to Vortex is defiantly get what you pay for. My Vortex is all I can compare to and if I haven't had any real trouble with low light I would imagine a Nighforce would be even better.

    Got a MOA in a Vortex Viper with the fine crosshairs and haven't had a problem myself. I don't use all of its capabilities at this point because anything 250yd and in is pretty close to a dead hold or slightly higher on target.

    Looks good to me, should be fairly safe. On a few of the fishing trips to Canada one guy made what he called seagull suprise. Think it consisted of basically potatoes onions and eggs in the same pan with leftover beans and cheesy cabbage with onions and walleye on the side for breakfast.

    Looks good I will make something similar, put a layer of garden potatoes underneath then a layer of onions, fish, mote onions. Season throughout with ones choice. Haven't made it for awhile so might have to throw that on the supper idea one night.

    Really not a bad idea. I can see the ice jig model for small panfish jigs if out hole hoping in the cold and wind.

    Muskie in Red River?

    Few years ago caught about a 5 inch long muskie on the Red in Wahpeton. Was a real monster I tell you, buddy gave me a pretty hard time cause that was our only fish of the day and it was basically an accidental catch.
