    I had to see the jaw breaker in Mobridge today and stopped by The Bay to get a snack and asked them about it. Gal at counter said they were removing it tomorrow. There were tracks in parking lot but it didn't look like anyone accessed the lake from ramp...strange.

    I chopped a hole in the ice today. 12/23. There is 6 solid inches. Like I said. ..There are a few groups of guys taking side by side 4 wheelers out to the main channel. Now since the current is probably stronger with the low water conditions, I can only assume the channel could be less.

    There are guys our fishing in front of Winona Island by main channel break. Seen a shack in Porcupine creek today too. Will know ice thickness for myself real soon.
