    Consider your target first. If Elk, Moose, and Bear are a large portion of your fall forays the 7mm would get my nod. If your largest target year in and year out is Mule Deer, the more comfortable caliber to shoot would be better IMO. Ammo availability would be next on my list of priorities...

    Something to ponder here fellas as we traverse our way to 10 pages of what has become hunter rights over landowner rights and there are plenty of landowners on this site mind you. How many times will hunters have to push the use of this portion of the game law before the landowners push back...

    Pheasant opener 2017

    Hunted for almost 4 hours yesterday, put on about 8 miles, and didn't see one pheasant. Had a Blast!! Being out with Herc and watching him look back at me after a foray of his into the cover with an expression on his face that says "Nothing in there" is just plain COOL!!! Be Safe!!!
