    Success rate in most cases is self imposed by one setting the standards of an animal they are willing to harvest and I think that is especially true with bow hunters.

    I have my 270 sighted in at 3 1/2" high at 100 yds. I don't allow for anything for bullet drop when shooting deer out to 300 yds. 100 yds its a high hit and at 300 its a low hit but still in the boiler room. I don't ever recall taking a shot at anything over 300 yds

    Why not take those 1000+ muleys that were taken with bow ( 2017 ) and put them in the lottery that would increase the opportunity for everybody to get drawn for a muley tag - Along with your application you would have to specify what weapon and would be restricted to that weapon and season.

    You guys are looking at it wrong I think the future looks bright with the Muley population. The number of does and fawns looked good in the area's I hunted as did the amount of bucks. Granted I did not find any bucks above the 150 range but I did see at least 6 bucks and as many as 10 per day...
