Red River Find of a Livetime - Stag Antler

That one has good mass but it's well inside the size range of western elk. Have to remember back then your avarge elk or deer would be much older due to lack of modern hunting equipment and less pressure on peak age animals so big head gear was common. Just cruse google and you'll see lots in...

Red River Find of a Livetime - Stag Antler

It could be an eastern but we are for the most part out of their old range although it did get a fair ways across MN and who knows how far that thing bounced downstream. When lewis and Clark came through by the time the spring came they were so sick of eating elk the went on about it at length...

    Devils Lake storm 7/4/16

The numbers I read last night on the national severe weather reports page had allot of areas out by the flats and back towards rugby with wind in the 80 to 90 MPH range with the largest hail being a few tennis ball sized stones 12 miles east of willow city.

I'm curious as to why you think it's a stag instead of an elk?

    Too early for salmon???

That's a fair chunk north on the thumb. Fished that Algoma -Sturgeon Bay area allot back a few years ago. It's where I developed a dislike for lake trout. They end up being a wasted turn with how little they fight. Would much rather have a steal head or king.

    Bow~fishing 2016 !!!!!

No we just dropped them off and he worked them in come fall. We were bringing in up to a thousand a day when we're going full tilt. Eventually we grew tired of just shooting any carp and got very selective on only shooting large female buffalo and gar so our take dropped to only 150 to 200. Mind...

    Bow~fishing 2016 !!!!!

Normally if you ask many farmers would love to have them. Had one guy that we used to drop hundreds off at back in the 90's. He was a little reluctant at first but by the second year he literally made a map of his fallow field and had us dumping them in all the areas lacking nutrients. According...

    Fireworks.

Yeah I was the smart sober one last year that remembered to bring safety glasses. Nothing worse then staring up in the sky and getting burnt powder in your eyes from some drunk guy up the beach. The bottle rocket trailer was fairly impressive. ...done it with around 50 gross of them in a cutoff...

Yeah he puts on a hell of a show but I have to give the guy down a mile south on the west side the win last year! It definitely seemed like they were actually trying to compete with each other and the guy to the south had allot more big loud stuff. This guy must spend damn near as much as the...

Having grown up in south bismarck I've seen the Lincoln area from afar and close up and yes they go bat shit crazy over there but that's true everywhere in the belt around bismarck city limits north to south. Used to watch the area from licoln over to below Mary and west to the river and it's a...

I see they are off the river again for some reason. Assuming there must be something off that side river where they are heading.

    Ridgid Cordless Tools?

Ridgid is owned by home depot. When I worked there we were told to push the service warranty to the point of actually telling the customers that how it worked was they would call a number and tell them it wasn't working right and the company would replace it for free and you keep the old tool...

    Brexit

No idea where it will lead but know I'm all for it. Not because I have any idea what's going to happen...just know Hillary and Obama were campaigning against its so that's enough for me to pick the other side.
