    Prices in North Dakota seem to be substantially higher than a couple of our neighboring states so I intend to buy a truck in either MN or SD in December. Has anyone else done this and if so, is there any additional things I need to know (taxes, fees, etc.)? Thanks for any info.

    12 or 20 gauge for pheasants?

    So I used that Citori 20g this weekend. 3" lead 6's, 1.25oz of shot and hot damn is that a pheasant killing machine. The 12 has now been restricted to a waterfowl gun only.

    I am acquiring an old Marlin lever action chambered in .32-20 mostly because I think it is cool and would add to my collection. Ballistics on it are...not great. Has anyone ever used this round on big game (deer)? I have a treestand in mind where the max range I would be shooting at is about 50...

    The last couple of days have been awful fire conditions. High winds, heat and quite dry. Yesterday afternoon a big fire came up on the reservation and took off with the wind.     Giant ND moose taken today!

    Saw one about that size (or at least it seemed to me but I don't know how to judge moose) south of Bismarck last fall. A shame the Missouri River corridor isn't a unit.
