    Bia ans?

If they are BIA, they are federal and their jurisdiction can extend beyond Reservation boundaries based on their agreements with the State and county law enforcement.

    Bear Spray

When I was out in Glacier a couple summers ago, they rented bear spray by the day. I am not sure why I should be any more scared of buying an unused can of bear spray from someone on NDA than I would be renting one from one of the outfitters in the area. That being said, bear spray is one of...

    Bia ans?

I got checked on Alkaline a week ago, and Van Hook on Sakakawea this past weekend.

    Low Lake Levels....DANGER

Yep, I was up at Van Hook the past few days and you could find some really shallow water over 100 yds from shore around Shell and Gull islands. One really needed to pay attention when traveling long distances to their mapping chip to stay in the deeper water.

Zebra Mussels Discovered in Twin Lakes

What I do want to know is how to decontaminate the area of the pontoon that is in direct contact with the bunks. Someone, anyone? It would seem to me that to fully decontaminate a boat, pontoon, or other water craft would be to suspend it in the air so you can reach 100% of the surface area...

That ranks right up there with the mountain lion trailer stories.

Zebra Mussels Discovered in Twin Lakes

Zebra Mussel infested pontoon highlights ANS danger to Lake Sakakawea (msn.com) Which of you maroons was this? - - - Updated - - - Sadly, so many of you are correct in that we can't stop aquatic invasive species. Quite a few years ago I worked on the EIS for the Red River Valley Water Supply...

    Canada geese on Metigoshe

I have 2-3 mated pairs in my backyard pond each summer. We've reached a mutual understanding. They can chase and harass the dog, but they put their whole family in peril if they come after me.

    Brush Gun

shorts, I think it's safe to say that there are shitbirds in every state. We have road hunters, MN has sound shots. Neither are great ideas.

    Bigger Walleye Tactics

Right, one needs to trade quantity for quality as a golden rule. Go where the meat anglers are not and try different tactics. I don't know the biologic reasons walleye (and other species) separate themselves at times, but it's certainly something that the better tourney anglers have used to...

    Tinnitus

I too feel lucky. I wasn't given ear plugs when I was a kid driving the old 2-cylinder John Deere tractors. As I got into my later teens and 20s, I started wearing ear protection as a rule when I drove tractors, ran grinders, etc. I get the occasional round of ringing in my ears, but it is...

    2 stroke vs. 4 stroke

And we gave millenials a hard time for eating Tide pods. - - - Updated - - - Yep, for some reason I thought you were running a bigger motor.

    2 stroke vs. 4 stroke

Huh? My 2003 Yamaha 4S is fuel injected. I think they were carbed in the sub 100 HP range until about 2004. But the bigger engines went to fuel injection a few years earlier. Note, I love, love, LOVE that damn motor. As to the original post, I'd think a 17 ft boat with a 75-80 HP motor...

    Glass Bedding

I too prefer a bedded action with free floated barrel. Mostly because I had the distinct pleasure of observing a wandering POI on a rifle that had a hairline crack in the forend of the stock. As the barrel heated up it seemed to get some sort of pressure from the stock and while round #1 was...

    No till food plot

I am the king of failed roundup, seed and scratch food plots. You simply need a bit of luck when it comes to getting timely rains. But I do know others who have had great luck with them. Roundup ready alfalfa is another option, but I believe the seed is pricey.

    Something seems strange.....

Skullit nailed it. They can basically name it whatever they want so long as the ND Secretary of State OK's it. You do see a lot of family names in the LLLPs and LLCs, but it's not a requirement.

    Deer Lottery Deadline

Damnit! I swung for the fence and applied for a muley buck tag = unsuccessful. This breaks my streak of having an antlered tag going all the way back to 1996.

    Radon Mitigation

Yep, seal that interior sump and at a minimum use the exterior one as a chimney. If that doesn't lower it enough, then install a small fan and exhaust pipe to one of the sumps to put a slight draw on the vapors coming from the ground. That would be the order of steps I'd take.
