Damn, I've never seen a tractor stood up like that before. Pretty impressive!

    Fiberglass boats

I just drove a 2 year old version of that this past Sunday. I liked the layout, but the ride was wet. It also loaded up very nice in 30+ mph crosswinds with its custom bunk trailer with guides.

My guess is hail contamination, hail really messes up the algorithms used to estimate rainfall totals. So one needs to calibrate the radar estimates with actual rain gauges to establish a bias, for each and every storm. I've heard of rain totals in excess of 5 inches in that area. Much of the...

    Brush Gun

Yes, sadly enough. I knew some backwoods hun-yucks from northern Minnetucky who would proudly proclaim how many "sound shots" they got while out walking through the woods. Hear a noise...shoot in its direction...go look for blood. Again, WTF? Needless to say, I NEVER hunted with them.

Jesus, this brings things to a whole 'nother perspective for me. Buddy of mine from the Corps got in touch with me years ago via FB as Max Power. RIP, Tommy....I never knew...

    Fiberglass boats

Yeah, ol' Sandstrom tried to motivate people to fight this back in the 90s and early 2000s, but some didn't take it seriously. And for that I will forever be sorry. - - - Updated - - - p.s. And that's why I will never buy another camper after Mother Nature eventually destroys the one I have...

Depending on the accuracy you need, that may be true. But there are a bunch of people out there better at it than a shoe salesman.

    Brush Gun

Brush guns are for those a-holes out east of the Red that take "sound" shots. The pure astonishment I had at such a concept when I first heard about it is impossible to relay to you all. W... T.. F...?

    Verado issues

With all those new fancy seats, it's not that surprising that people will push a boat to its limit and damage the hull. Back when I lived in GF, I knew of a couple Crestliners with crushed hulls from running too fast on DL. More recently, I know a guy who crushed a Ranger hull (aluminum) a...

    Fiberglass boats

You can't drive down to most of the shoreline in a vehicle and park a camper, or set up a tent. You can do it if you choose to boat to an area and tent it (I think), but that's a lot less appealing to most. Including me. Back in the 70s and 80s, Little Knife Bay area all the way over to the...

    Benjamin Waa Shotshell

These have been around for years now, probably not a common round, but they have been around for some time. Lethal as all hell!

    It's hot

Not around my area. I was a little surprised yesterday when I ran across a grasshopper. Just one, and I only walked a few hundred yards, but it don't look good by Bismarck. - - - Updated - - - p.s. And there sure as hell is no dew around here this year.

    Fiberglass boats

To each their own, but having grown up camping on the shores of Sak in the New Town area where we would leave the boats beached overnight, through storms, etc for weekend's at a time, there is a real difference in wear on a glass hull when compared to the aluminum hulls. If you are able to...

    Smart thermostat

Mehh, mine have always run on batteries. They last so long that you even forget they are battery operated. On my existing thermostat, I've changed them twice in nine years.

Beaching on gravel/rocky shorelines. It's why I bought aluminum, and then the Corps stopped allowing people to camp on the shores of Sak. If/when I buy another, it will likely be glass.

    Help Propping 200 V6 Merc on Tri-Toon

I have a tritoon with a 150 Merc 4S on it. It came from the dealership (River City here in Bismarck) with an Enertia prop on it and they seemed really high on using Enertia props for toons. I'm generally pretty happy with it with one small exception. On takeoff it seems to grab a bunch of air...

Hell, the damn willows and poplars I have just grow out of what we would ordinarily call deadfall. Phucking amazing at how trees start grow out of my fresh cut firewood.

    Shelter Belts

One thing about cedars is that they are a host to cedar-apple rust. If you have juneberries within a half mile of them, it really effs up the juneberry harvest. The berries dry up and become inedible.
