    Frog Invasion

    1) No one should ever need an excuse for a chainsaw. That's just something that every human needs, like socks. All three of my girls each have their own chainsaws. 2) Walleyes eat frogs. And when the frog population is up, the eyes are fat. I've seen it even in the Missouri river. 3)...

    replacing gross 1970s paneling

You have to think small. Think of the hurdles you could bend your will towards besting, in making a train model, say 1/100th the size of HO scale. Maybe the whole thing fits in a shoe box?

Family Motor Coach Associate takes over the ND State Fairgrounds

When all is said and done, the library in Medora will cost very little. Very little. A lot of the money spent in Medora, honestly, is donated by the Walton family, of Walmart. I have a first-cousin who lives in Medora full time, and is the head of maintenance for the Theodore Roosevelt...

    Fish recycling!

Ayup, that's the one. 1/4 mile away, a car was turned into a convertible. Neat. Also, don't ever forget to pronounce the "H" in "Whale".

Ceramic coating on boat or vehicle

I have a neighbor who has done his Corvette, and it really IS nice. He drives that car a lot, and after coating it, it's much easier to clean. I think though, a kit for one vehicle is in the $80 range. He applied it himself. If you like, PM me and I'll get some info for you.

    Fish recycling!

I love this last question. Seems to me, at some point, I heard of blowing up a beached whale, with TNT. I seem to remember hearing a lot of plops, and they said "Now the mess is even bigger".

No worse than a $40 nipper from Simms, I guess.

    Fish recycling!

Oh hay-ll no! You don't want to mess around with it, because it's perfect? Or you don't want to mess around with it because it is the most God-awful "fragrance" you've ever laid your nose on?

    Voles?

Yes, the white plastic jaw type traps work great. Put them along the fence, or some other barrier. The vole runs along the barrier, and PRESTO! One less vole. Also, I found some lines in my grass in the front yard a few years ago. Laid a 2x4 on edge at an angle to their trail, and put a...

ND doesn't need any stupid out of state boat inspections

ND doesn't need any stupid out of state boat inspections

I agree. The mentality that "it's gonna happen anyways" is a no-go, in my book. Why wipe your butt, or make your bed? Why do anything, we're all gonna die anyhow.. Nah, we gotta do what we can, to stop or slow it down. I enjoy fishing way too much, to just say "oh well, I guess I'll start...

    Heskett

What was said above is just right. Very little ability to move around there right now, since the water is so high. You'd be walking in waist deep water within a couple strides from the steps, and there are plenty of things to trip over. Plus, with long days and lots of sunlight, in...

    Boat Insurance

Having been to Addis, I will tell your insurance adjustor two things: 1) Shipping so much as a candybar out of Addis is unbelievably expensive and highly likely to incur damage, if it gets out at all. Ethiopia is a landlocked country now, with no ports. Shipping, and export fees are honkin'...
