    The shore ice was pretty sketchy last sat especially along the causeway. A lot of it was due to the lake rising and the ice buckling along the shore.     Probably ...they were driving on last weekend so foot traffic shouldn't be to bad so long the shore ice hasn't completely disintegrated.

    I do love how when you look it up on the net there are three different pics of the so called crash site. One is the round hole shown above another is a pressure ridge well out in the lake and the third is a saucer that's clearly in some hills with a guy on a dog sled!

    I'll be pretty damn surprised if we don't have some birds crossing into nd somewhere by sat morning. As for the farmers first day I just went back and it looks like around March 15th is the average start to things. But some years are definitely earlier such as last year where guys in Canada...
