    Wentz Replaced in Philadelphia?

Ahh, you're thinking of retirement income. I was thinking in the here and now since he's a few years away from retiring. The bottom line though is that the gov't tends to look at where the income was earned if it's salaried or hourly. Oil workers coming up to ND pay ND state income tax for the...

Tikka is correct for structural integrity. However, I know nothing about your local code. If you need a building permit, they will help guide you.

    Wentz Replaced in Philadelphia?

I don't think it's that simple. He will pay state tax based on where it's earned. At one point, the states with high income taxes (New York, California) tried to get professional athletes to pay their state's tax when playing games there even if they played for a Texas (wherever) team. Not...

    High speed pit maneuver

One can say law shouldn't pursue people for small infractions (speeding, running stop signs, etc), but if they don't we'd see an awful lot more of people running from the law. As it stands right now, people generally run because of something much larger than the observed infraction. They are...

    Wentz Replaced in Philadelphia?

Good. I'd like to see Wentz with the Vikings, where he belongs. Actually, if you're the Eagles you have learned the value of a good backup QB. Whether it's an injury or even if it turns into an outright competition for the job, that worked pretty well for teams like SF and NE and AZ and GB...

    Opti Overhaul

I dropped the lower unit on a late 80s Mariner in order to replace the water pump. About shit myself when the bearings bounced out the garage door. It was a real WTF was that moment. I'm not horribly shy about doing mechanicking, but today's stuff is just beyond my experience (and tool box)...

Rob Gronkowski going to the Bucs.

I think the Bucs are going to regret picking up Brady. Gronk, maybe not so much. Brady looks to me like Favre did in his last year, old.

    Jason Mitchell Outdoors

Hmm, saw him on the water today. I should have paid better attention! We were still fishing deeper, but the fish are definitely moving shallower as water temp was 48 degrees.

Trailer Upgrades, Bunks, Tires and Jack.

While I am not overly familiar with specifics, I do know there are boat junkyards on the web. You might be able to pick one up from there, but I'm guessing it would still be cost prohibitive based on the new value of boat glass. Nonetheless, I totally get why a person would want a windshield...

    Night crawler worm bed

You can trap minnows, but the traps are very specific in size, etc. A seine (net) as you described would require a commercial bait trapping license. Even then, I am not sure about the legality of pulling it with a motorized boat. One can't even use a cast net in ND under the current rules.

Not to be a stick in the mud, but I don't think Mr. Game Warden would like this idea.

Are you talking a new windshield, or a whole 'nother boat? As far as the wife, I suggest earplugs. Even if they don't stop the wind from howling in her ears, they will at least take 23 decibels off of her complaint. My fishing buddy was wearing some the other day on a standard 15 mp wind with...

    Coal Creek

I recall way back in 2003, when I moved to Bismarck, the electric company sent out a letter asking anyone who wanted to go "green" could add $5 to their electric bill to help support wind power. I am guessing it's not so voluntary any longer.

Yep, I've been saying that for months. For all that the Donald and I agree on, he's been way too slow to come around on this topic. It's already driven Whiting into bankruptcy. Several more Bakken players are going to be right behind them. We tariffed the hell out of Japanese cars in the 80s...

    Gas Prices

By wishing for "cheap gas", you have the same fundamental end game of AOC...the demise of the U.S. oil industry. While I don't like to see oil at $150 a barrel either, we need to make sure drilling for oil in the U.S. is profitable or we will once again be at the mercy of people that are not...

    Private Landowners Hunting Public Lands

LOL. I'm also a landowner. I rarely hunt the deer on my land, mostly because they know me and I could damn near club them at times. Doesn't seem sporting to me, so I hunt other private and public lands. And I also let a fairly large number of people (on a per acre basis) hunt my land, but...
