    Little known gotcha's in life

SO I called the bank again yesterday, and this time their ATM manager actually called me back with "good news". It will be resolved in 2-5 business days. While I told him to not take this personally, I actually swore in reference to the type of customer service I felt I was receiving. 28...

    Deadliest Catch

That's just the way it is. I don't think I've ever seen anyone arguing with a cattle buyer either come fall. Or fur buyer in the winter, or …..? I'm guessing you get accustomed to a particular buyer and if/when you think they are screwing you over, you move on to the next.

    Verado trim ?

Are you sure the trim limiter is operating as intended? If you can't trim up enough to blow out the prop, I think I'd look at something other than motor height as the start.

    Little known gotcha's in life

I guess I just have less confidence in phone security than I do my PC. - - - Updated - - - It pisses me off, I've been with the same financial institution for 28 years. So yeah, I'd be leaning that way a lot more if I wasn't so, soooo, deep into what they've done over the years. All the...

    Little known gotcha's in life

I hate the idea of having banking or credit card information on my phone. I use my bank's online banking quite a bit, but I haven't seen a way to make a deposit from the online stuff, even though I know you can with their app.

    Little known gotcha's in life

After reading the Nordic Track post, I thought I'd share something that may be a bit more of a risk with this whole social distancing and limited services thing. Last week Tuesday I went to my bank to make a deposit. In general I always have liked going into the bank to make deposits, etc...

    Ryan Fontaine

While I too probably would rather defer treatment to Bismarck, or Fargo for no logical reason. I must say, Trinity has done a great job of keeping my stepfather alive and kicking. He had to have a pig valvle used as a replacement for one of his OEM parts. That was probably just over 20 years...

    Sourdough Bread

One can't even buy yeast at this point. And it got me wondering, any of you fella NDAers ever make your own sourdough bread? It can be some of my fave, along with rye, you can keep that nutty 7-grain crap. I was reading the description on how to get a culture of "starter" goin at...

    North Dakota Pyramid

Nah, the site was abandoned as a part of the S.A.L.T. agreement with the USSR. Some would say that it is what made the Soviets finally agree to our terms. Anyway, it no longer has use and I can't imagine why there would be a flight restriction around a stripped down and abandoned site. The...

    Big Muddy Tournament Date

I think this has been a pretty humorous read. Some tourney anglers have gotten butt hurt by SDMF, but at the same time they would be the first to recognize that adding prize money to fishing has brought out the worst in people (dog kennels, etc). I am not going to say that all tourney...

anyone care to hazard a guess....

When my ex decided we needed a camper to keep up with the Jones' back around 2009, I had a $50k pickup, a $25k camper and a $22k boat, or roughly $100k invested by the time we added in grills, camping toys, etc. Nowadays, that same setup (yep, I still have it after the divorce) is worth about...

anyone care to hazard a guess....

Same here, especially when the kids and I got ready to leave. Neither kid is capable of trailering the boat or backing up the pickup, so I'm one of those who has to tie off to the ramp and run up to get the truck. I try to be as courteous as I can to those in line, but at some point I will...

anyone care to hazard a guess....

Right! I pull my boat out of the water and am 10 miles down the damn road before any of the 10 sparkly owners off the ramp ahead of me have even finished "wiping down their babies" much less started to clean their fish.
