Snow Pack and Lake Sakakawea Levels

Oh I've gone through many of those sites and articles before. I've actively chased carp with rod and reel for years now but primarily at my folks because I fish allot like that article and that's illegal in ND but not on our lake. Hell I'm probably one of the few guys in nd who has sowing...

Oil well planned for Van Hook

Not sure they could add on much more length they are already a mile longer then normal. Better to 11 in one spot the spread out over several pads. At least with the bigger pad it makes it allot easier to keep any spills contained.

Snow Pack and Lake Sakakawea Levels

Yeah just baited up my folks yard and am going to hit the this afternoon with a buddy. One nice thing for me is if I want to kill the carp all I have to do is put out huge wads of corn dry. Buggers come in and gorge on it but then with their gut packed full of it the corn starts absorbing water...

Snow Pack and Lake Sakakawea Levels

They do allow it but just not many guys that do it since there are no processing plants here. Plus we have enough trouble getting a fishing line trough without getting snagged so their nets would be a bitch.

Snow Pack and Lake Sakakawea Levels

Wish they would make it so we could throw corn out to bait them in and not get a ticket. It's allot of fun when you get a whole big group of them feeding in one spot!

Snow Pack and Lake Sakakawea Levels

Sort of like the corp saying sak came up 8/10th's of a foot yesterday. Guessing the storm messed with Guage a fair bit. At least Sak still looks to get a fair bit of rise this month.

Snow Pack and Lake Sakakawea Levels

God I hate the corp! They had oahe set to get to at least 1614 and possibly a fair chunk higher which would have been slightly higher then last years peak at 1613.5 but I see they have now changed the release schedule and that means we are pretty well done now. The flooding down south must be...

    Fishing Kayak Input Requested

That's a nice looking model especially for as tight as it is along that river. Buddy was over the other day and asked if I was willing to trade him my standard closed topped kayak. I haven't used it in ten years so asked what he was willing to trade. He said he would trade the SS pipsqueaks twin...

    Piebald deer

Only ever seen one and that one only had two small blotches so barley a piebald at that. Do know a guy who shot a 150 "piebald" in IL. The reason for the air quotes is the deer by most all our definition would be called an albino but those are illegal to kill there but it only has to have a tiny...

Does muzzleloader season mean the end of elk calling?

That's what happens when you get invaded by the fruits and nuts from California!

Does muzzleloader season mean the end of elk calling?

Having lived out there some and hunted it quite a bit much of the most aggressive calling bulls I've been around were a couple weeks into muzzle season. These were not back country bulls by any stretch. ...hell tangled with a herd bull for a couple hours one morning then walked back to the truck...

    Lets talk 9/11....

Of course they could track you your sending them your elevation, course and speed with your transponder. That system works great right up till you turn the damn thing off like they did. To think back then we would know exactly what happend in the 20 minute window and get planes over there is...

You know i find it interesting that if you go through the list of 2,000+ engineers and architects that a couple names jump out at me. Oh not for being on the list but for not being on the list. That would be the lead structural engineer and Lead architect who built the damn thing. If it was a...

    Lets talk 9/11....

20 guys vs the thousands it would have taken for this to be remotely possible outside of some piss poor hollywood film. Pluse it's a hell of allot easier to keep secrets when your dead! I'm still waiting for someone to answer how the mythical explosives survived the impact and ensuing fire?

Targeting Crappie from shore on the Missouri River?

Crappies on the river it's self are not really something you can target. Like said you'll find some in the bays and cutoff areas but they are often fairly small. Head down to beaver or cattail and put on a slip bobber and a minnow and move around till you find them. They are very structure...

    Lets talk 9/11....

I always laugh at the truthers when they bring this shot up. They always point to the top of the roof and say see it's to narrow from the planes wings totally ignoring to perfectly sized slits down where the plane hit that are right where they should be. For me it's a classic case for Occam's...

It was crashed by them but was going to be shot down in short order had stayed up. The fighters who would of had to shoot it down were three 16 drivers out of fargos airwing who's patrol area was always DC. They were scrambled out of Langley just before the first plane hit the pentagon. Two of...

    Lets talk 9/11....

Didn't watch the whole thing because I'm allergic to tinfoil! Let me ask this how do you get explosives rigged then ram a plane into the exact spot where the charges are? Two how do you get said explosives to survive having a plane fly through them throwing debris everywhere with out cutting the...
