    ND has lots of lakes with them but they tend to over populate and stunt out! Clay those are some awesome gills but I would watch out you may get sued by Captain Ahab for copyright infringement on a patented pose!

    Yep all you need is a canola field with a good number of trees around it and like said near town is a big plus especially for the Eurasian Doves. After that add in a robo dove and allot of ammo and you have a recipe for a good time.

    Well not a 100% sure what happened but im reasonably sure a big snapping turtle tried getting into the trap. Messed the hell out of it and you can see in spots were its claws pulled some of the mesh up and even a few spots where it ripped or bit holes through it.

    How the heck do I turn off the automatic email notifications? Damn thing suddenly started slamming my inbox an hour ago with over twenty emails at this point!

    Yeah it sucks my folks live on a privet lake I could get bluegill by the ton on! That rule pluse the one trap rule and the no opening bigger then 1 1/4 inch on traps are all stupid!

    Unfortunately in ND the bait can't be made from any game fish so I'm forced to use carp at this point since they are free.

    Well I'm mainly going for bait contamination isnt of great concern. The dead ones were few a far between....looked more like just a natural death. It just told me there were some in that stretch. Would you go ubber shallow or in the deeper corners that are a foot or two?

    Thanks for the tip. Ironically 100% of my luck has come from just such a creek but I've been fishing the "deeper" pool near the road. No bass to speak of in this creek but extremely large numbers of pike in the three to ten pound range. I was flyfishing the creek below the pool the other day and...

    how does this whole point system on here work.

    So whats with the points system and levels and thumbs up....well that one seems fairly self explanatory. But what makes one post worth a certain amount and another a different?
