Zman does a "virtual" version of this pretty much every year. Doubtful there are many "ladies" that want anything to do with those displayed sans LARGE cash payments, up front.
I had the non-HD version from '04-'12. Sold them for the Zeiss Victory LRF binocs due to better optical performance (I owned them both for ~2mo while deciding which to keep). Pard has the Swaro EL range and the LRF on them is better than the Leica and the Zeiss, especially when it's snowing...
NULA (New UltraLight Arms) in no more than a 7Rem or 7WSM so as to NOT need a brake. Melvin's Model 20 in 284Win is pretty much the holy grail of "The most for the least". Kimber 8400 in 7WSM assuming you can make it shoot is another contender, but, you gotta find a used one as they don't...

No bad choice between those 2 unless weight is also a concern. Either of those companies will build you a very accurate piece. I'd look at handling both to see if one "fits" you better than the other. Be prepared for a rifle/scope/sling/ammo combo thats a bit north of 10#.
I don't think it's unreasonable when you've been pursuing game that is owned in "public trust" that you are subject to checkpoint stoppage. As Rowdie said, buy the license, you've agreed/submitted to the search.
Not sure about SD, but MT regs make it mandatory to stop if you've been or are going hunting:
It'd be easy enough to have the check @ a rest-stop like they did then have a LEO on an overpass looking for folks who failed to stop and cars lined up on the off-ramp to chase them down like they do...
