    Boat stereos

I have a good radio/stereo in both the Toon and fishing boat. Both will eventually be sold with the boat and may be the only part left that is truly "good as new". They get used, but not very often.

    Shorelander wires

Last night I used my favorite trick in working on electrical shit. I looked at it in the dark and started wiggling wires. It didn't take but 30 seconds to see the sparks where Shoreland'r pinched the running light wire in the frame to suspension area. dipshits

    Shorelander wires

I have a brand new Shoreland'r trailer that has issues. It blinks constantly on the running lights. I figure it will be at least as easy to figure out as a post from you. Amongst other things, cyclops?

    Blue Gills

Yeah, I see them on lots of walleyes from Sakakawea, DL, and every other small lake in the prairie pothole region. You just gotta look and you will eventually find them. They don't bother me tho, at least not as much as the tapeworm looking things in the walleyes at DL, or the little black...

    Ulterra Owners???

That is correct. I have not run into that problem yet, but I have a quick release on mine where I can pretty easily lift the whole unit off the bow if needed. The older slide-in style bracket would be impossible to remove with the motor deployed. Truth is I didn't even think of this until you...

Wildlife vs. The Drought of '17

I think there's also something about the midge's life cycle that puts it into full on infectious stage in late August through Sept. So early frosts help a bunch by knocking some of the midge's out of the gene pool.

    Ulterra Owners???

The deploy and store feature on the Ulterra is awesome. The reception from the remote to the unit is mediocrity personified. When on the Toon, anyone or anything remotely in the way gives me fits. Otherwise, I like.

Wildlife vs. The Drought of '17

guy said: you can't imagine what they do to gain an acre here in the eastern third of the state nauseating LOL, I watched as over the course of a summer, a farmer out in Kidder county used a backhoe, payloader, and skidsteer to clear the rocks out of a good sized (quarter??) piece...

Heart-stopping mountain lion encounter caught on video

Curious is how that cat looks to me. If it was hunting them, it would be a bit more intense!

    All new powertrain's for GM

As much as a person may hate the idea, the day of road taxes via mileage are fast approaching. Electric cars, hybrids, and increased fuel efficiency are really stressing out the concept of the Highway Trust Fund act of 1956. You know, back when a car weighed as much as a pickup and got roughly...

    Realestate Lawyer?

I am just spitballing here, but it could just be that he wants to finance the whole thing (or next to the whole thing to avoid PMI) and this is his way of doing it. Jack the price up 6% so long as the appraisal comes in that high, and voila, he gets it for little to no money down. There were...

    Realestate Lawyer?

So basically you are saying the person wants a 6% commission to sell your house to them plus $5k to go towards closing costs. Yeah, I think the person is trying to buy the house for a quick flip while you pay the cash out of hand costs of doing so. I am guessing the realtor values your house...

    Tenzing backpack

Err, we hunters use ozone for what? I guess I'm just not into cool new things. Especially when they aren't exactly good for ya.

    Deer Unit Numbering System??

Yep, I think it was originally based upon habitat type. As such, 1 is for the trees up there, 2 the Red River Valley and out into the Prairie Pothole region, 3 being the Missouri River breaks and associated rolling hills country, and 4 being the Badlands.

    Direct Payments to farmers/ranchers

Yep, the hay prices I have heard of are anywhere from ~$70-$120 a bale at auction in SD. Sheesh, at ~1,000 lb bales, that's an insane cost per ton.

    Deer hunting land

Not to be nitpicky, but that's actually Highway 1804, not River Road. Of course, that's if you are talking about Painted Woods WMA. I haven't hunted it for a few years, but I did chase pheasants around out there quite a bit up to about 5-6 yrs ago. It gets hit really damn hard by bird hunters...

    Deer Unit Numbering System??

I think they started as deer management areas, not necessarily hunting units per se. So you really only had areas 1, 2, 3, 4, etc. Then they started breaking them up into smaller units for hunting. 4A, 4B, etc. And at some point they came across the idea that a few of the units like 3E were...
