    Its those big damn flies, no matter how clean I keep my boat, and myself, them damn flies can find me a mile from shore, and eff up a calm day of fishing every time.

    McKenzie bay has been my open water home for 12 years, you can find calm water somewhere in the bay area, unless the wind is way bad. If it is coming out of the northwest, go right to the marina and try fish point or ski bay.

    I have a scheels brand 3 person flat circle one, it pulls super easy, and is fast when giving wild rides and turns. I bought one of those ball ropes, that has the big ball in the middle of the length of rope to help prevent rope splash on the riders and heighten visibility, seems to work better...
