    FwIw, wormwood makes a decent natural pest repellant. cut some tops just as they are starting to flower, hang in a dark place to dry, shed or whatever. Once dry crush them and soak in alcohol for a week, strain out plant material, might need to do it once with a strainer and again with coffee...
