    Need venting underneath a shed?

I built a 10x16 garden shed last fall. It's sitting on 4x4s on top of a gravel and rock base. I want to seal up the foundation area so critters can't get under it (already had some bunnies and a woodchuck under there on separate occasions). I'm planning on just using 2x4s to fill the gaps...

    Keeping outdoor kennel cool

I'm with Guy. Just shade part of it. Dogs quickly figure out where to lay if they want to be warmer or cooler. Leaving an option for full sun will be nice on cooler days.

    Dicamba Drift?

Good. It's ridiculous that one farmers crop can be affected if some other farmer in the area screws up. My dad had some Dicamba damage last year on his beans. I think he handled it better than I would -- I don't farm myself, but know if the guy across the road from my place f-ed up my trees...

    Pigeon for dog training

My brother is doing this with his lab. He lives in Pierre, but it's his first go at it, so probably still figuring it out. This may be a better use of your time: https://www.youtube.com/results?search_query=dog+training+pigeon+

    Need a new cooler

Ok, just seems like if that were the case, it would be plastered all over their site as that would be a selling point. And the 3rd party site that search result came from doesn't know for sure either, they only say this "But according to all the marketing for Lifetime coolers they are made in...

    Need a new cooler

You sure about that? Seems unlikely at that price, and I'm not immediately seeing anything about that on the Lifetime or Walmart sites.

    Coyote hunting: educate me

Yep, they'll do both, so you must always set up to cover both. If you use an electronic caller, you can put it slightly upwind, so their circle brings them straight to you, just as long you can still see the caller and any straight-line approach. Getting the sound away from you also helps you...

    Coyote hunting: educate me

Check out Randy Anderson on Youtube, or I could even borrow you some of his DVDs. I love that he just films the hunt and doesn't do any of that bullshit dramatic editing. He has some instructional stuff, but you can pick up a lot just by watching a hunt. Like buckhunter says, wind is the...

    Ultrasonica cleaner

For the baffles and end cap, I use a pick to quickly scrape the big chunks out, then I put them in 1/2 CLR and 1/2 water in a cheap ultrasonic cleaner. I wish mine was big enough to fit the tube in. CLR works wonders on carbon, is safe on titanium and stainless, but don't use it on aluminum.

Proposed WY big game price increases

Yeah, I know it's been that way for at least two years. Still pisses me off. Pretty selfish of me, but I hope people do stay home. I might draw with zero preference this year ;).

Proposed WY big game price increases

Just applied for Colorado archery Elk. What a crock of shit. You have to buy a NR small game license ($82) before you can even apply + Habitat stamp ($10) + Application fee ($9). All told, it cost me $101.91 to apply for tag I probably won't get. I would bet 90+% of NRs that apply and get...

New run on guns and ammo?

Are you daft man? Because the media says it's the Coronapocolypse. How are you going to become a warlord in the new Mad Max-esque landscape without a stockpile of guns and ammo?

New run on guns and ammo?

A work buddy that has never owned a firearm just bought an AR because "the world is going to shit". He said he found some, but not a lot of 223 ammo locally (Fargo). -- I have not checked myself. I was going to point him to SG Ammo for some bulk, but their site now says: "Due to overwhelming...

    6.5 CM - T/C Compass

I would certainly load some more 40.5 to see if it consistently shoots that well (or close). If so, that's a heck of a feat from a rifle that cheap. Testing at longer distances is really only good for checking vertical spread, which is largely a function of velocity. I prefer to use a...

    Rangefinder Binoculars

Yeah, for coyote hunting especially, it can't be beat. When I sit down for a set, I mark out a 250 yard perimeter. Anything inside of that is point and shoot. If they hang up outside, then I can get a quick range in the glory that is 10x HD glass, the onboard AB solver gives me an elevation...
