    Can you stock turkeys on private land?

    Last winter we had over 100 turkeys hanging around. The ground was solid tracks and shit. Game and Fish came in and netted 75 in one shot. No idea where they were released at but it can't be too far away. They multiply like rabbits.

    The foreçast for December is pretty much just like November. Most likely you better get the boat ready. Two words. El Nino. If you haven't noticed already the temps are very mild and dry.

    Whole meat venison jerky

    We used to get whole meat jerky made with Uncle Abe's seasoning. It was very good. Now Uncle Abe's has several varieties. Always like the whole meat jerky over the ground up stuff. West Dakota Meats in Bismarck makes good stuff.

    Fishing has been decent down by Beaver. Some days easy limits other days you have to work for them. Most everyone is fishing near or on the channel. I suppose the docks will be pulled soon. I hope not as there may still be decent days ahead.

    Bottom Bouncer Thread

    We use the lightest bb's possible. But current, wind and depth all influence the choice. If you fishing south of Bismarck it is a good idea to have a wide selection of bb's. Nothing like trolling spinners 5 foot off the bottom. It doesn't work.
