    It wasn't fun being a UND fan for four out of the last 7 periods of hockey. And yet they got a pair of wins against some difficult teams. Onward and upward! I shot a lot of games of pool during the first two periods of M and T games.

    I guess, given the size of suckers we used to use on walleyes back in the 80s, I must admit not fully understanding the reason GS were considered "safe" from walleyes after a few months. Then again, the bigger the predator gets, the bigger it can eat!

    Yeah, UND grad here, and I while I never went to a UND football game, I did enjoy it when UND would beat NDSU. Just the same, I am not expecting a UND win this weekend even though they are much improved and NDSU...well, isn't. I am thinking it will be a good game though.

    Yeah, in looking at the stocking reports and test nettings across ND, there are likely some record sized walleye in a few of our prairie lakes as well. Decent water quality, lack of winterkill, and abundant natural forage are producing nice fish across the region. Some of its Mother Nature...

    It's hard for me to fathom why I'd spend that much on a damn electric knife. My old rapala corded knife is on it's 4th or 5th set of blades over the past 15+ yrs. While I've had to do a little gluing with the butt of the knife, it's got a few years left in it.
