    Depth finder for kayak

I have the pedal drive. I am a huge fan of it. Especially when fishing in some wind. Keeping positioned is way better than paddling.

    Depth finder for kayak

I have the WS Radar sit on top that has the “pod” and the transducer mounts to the bottom. I have a really old Lowrance unit on it now and it works but I want to upgrade. I use a vexilar type battery and it works great. I’m not concerned about tipping. Thanks!

    Nitro zv20

I agree with SLE. Do the 21 with the 300pro xs. All the motor you’d ever need for that boat.

    Depth finder for kayak

I’m wanting to put a new depth finder on my kayak and am looking to stay under $500. I have Lowrance on my boat but am open to trying something new for the kayak to get the best bang for the $. I appreciate any suggestions!

What’s going on at Ft Peck?

I believe it has much more to do with the second part of this statement than the first part, but I completely agree.

    Installing rod guides

Given the the “turner” will be strictly for applying epoxy and drying the 9 rpm is the way to go.

    Walleye Rod Setups

I use a fluorocarbon leader 6 to 8’ long for casting and 12-14’ for trolling. I can say I don’t think I’m spooking fish. I don’t think I’d tie direct though. I like the little cushion a leader provides.

    Wireless Trollmaster 3 question

    I’ve never had that issue.

    Walleye Rod Setups

I’d go baitcaster for cranks. If you are going to cast and troll 7’ m or mh moderate action. Trolling only I’d go trolling rod and line counter all day.

    Trolling motor upgrade

Ulterra gets my vote. Never had an issue with mine.

    Sakakawea East End

Caught a nice limit Saturday evening but haven’t been out since. Gotta believe the spawn is going to shut things down soon if it hasn’t happened already.

    Your "Go To" for Fishing

Pitching light jigs no contest for me. Especially with plastics.

    Open Water 2020

Sitting at my cabin watching the ice on Douglas bay go quickly. Wind and temp today is eating it up pretty fast. By next weekend it ought to be ice free everywhere, or at least darn close.
