    I have to apply face sunscreen right away almost every day on the water or I burn. The last really bad smoke summer I went almost the entire month of July without using sunscreen. The sun appeared less intense than a flashlight in the eyes.

    I thought Trump was running for ND governor when I heard her commercial as his name was used at least a dozen times. If a politician's commercial uses "Trump", "God" or "Jesus" more times than their own name, it's a safe bet they're a swindler.

    The channel shifted west at fox Island and it's currently skinny getting in and out of there. Further reinforces the fact that removing an existing ramp in a proven location would be utter stupidity as ramp usability on this river can be impacted by shifting sands.

    Decided to try a set of Eze-Lap diamond hones in a range of grits. Will pick one for the tackle box and surely find uses for the others. Tried to find one of those keys but no luck. The other grooved sharpeners available didn't look great.

    Took care to remove intact perch egg sacs. Battered and fried them. Looked like hushpuppies... tasted like fried fish eggs. I'll try most things once and once was enough of that.
