Still loads of ice in town but should start cleaning up with forecast for the next 7 days. Ice jam really stacked up some huge piles on sand bars and all along the shore. Going to be dodging floaters the first few trips. Won't be long!
This case directly involves a sitting state legislator (Jason Dockter) and his dealings with the decedent along with many others who are very much still alive and still corrupt, so the past should not be ignored and what's done should be accounted for.

I share your sentiment but that's not far from what I have into a day trip to the lake in my own rig after gas, bait, tackle, etc. And the boat cost just a bit more than a pair of skis.
Common goldfish are invasive and can grow to huge sizes like that when released. If it's a community pond where they are established and accepted I would release. Any other water body they should be dispatched with prejudice.
They are dropping the discharge rate at Garrison but it takes 3 days for that water to make it to Bismarck so it's not like turning off the faucet on an overflowing sink.

Didn't have the best view westbound over the bridge at 60 mph but sure looked like somebody pushed ice off the ramp at Washburn. Dock was not in. River is wide open.
