    Still loads of ice in town but should start cleaning up with forecast for the next 7 days. Ice jam really stacked up some huge piles on sand bars and all along the shore. Going to be dodging floaters the first few trips. Won't be long!

    I share your sentiment but that's not far from what I have into a day trip to the lake in my own rig after gas, bait, tackle, etc. And the boat cost just a bit more than a pair of skis.

    116 buckets at 2.5 tons each adds up. They were dumping at fissures and other strategic locations to get the break up going.

    Common goldfish are invasive and can grow to huge sizes like that when released. If it's a community pond where they are established and accepted I would release. Any other water body they should be dispatched with prejudice.

    They are dropping the discharge rate at Garrison but it takes 3 days for that water to make it to Bismarck so it's not like turning off the faucet on an overflowing sink. Allen would know better but it seems depending on the nature of the ice jam that dropping the flow could further lock it in

    Didn't have the best view westbound over the bridge at 60 mph but sure looked like somebody pushed ice off the ramp at Washburn. Dock was not in. River is wide open.
