    Scheels trolling rods

I have 2 of the 8 foot telescoping rods and have used them for 3 full seasons with no problems. I did not buy the combos w/ the Okuma reals, as I don't think they are a quality real. I run Diawa SeaLine reels and they have worked flawlessly.

    Beers and burgers in Fargo

Silver dollar in West Fargo has good burgers and so does side street pub downtown. Hodo is good food, but very pricy. Last time I had a burger there, the choices were bison or wildrice. Try Pounds downtown. Pretty new, but the chef is top notch. Have not been there yet.....

    Hewes Craft...........Thoughts?

Friends of mine in Alaska have one. Well built. It was too small for a good fishing boat there, but would be great here on the bigger lakes. You do lose alot of useable room with the cabin.

    2 nights a week, for 4 weeks

Congrats....There is nothing better than taking your kids with and teaching them what our outdoors is all about. The experiences will be remembered for ever. Just remember, they will learn to be respectful of the land and land owners by your actions and will copy what you teach them.

    Need your mechanic thoughts

Spray around the intake with brake clean or carb spray when the engine is cold. If the rpm change, the intake gaskets leak causing your lean condition and misfire. The GM LS engines are notorious or this problem. if you test fuel pressure, 55-60 psi is where it should be at idling. Anything...

Headed to Winnipeg for the first time this year in a few weeks and wondering about snow cover.
