    Trolling Questions

My sealines were junk, level winds went bad and the counters would stall or skip, maybe I just got some bad reels but the tekota's are way smoother and heavier built for sure.. Lead is hard on reels!

    Trolling Questions

I normally run two snap weight setups and two lead setups out the side of I'm running 4 rods.. Anything over 45' or so I normally run all snap weight setups just gets to be too much line out on the lead core setups. This last weekend I was running on a 44' break line and had two snap weight...

    Best Leadcore Line?

Suffix 832 hands down, it does kink easily and after one season I spool off what amounts to 3 colors so I normally get two seasons out of 10 colors of suffix then I put 10 new colors on the third year.

    Trolling Questions

I agree with the post above. I've been trolling for 25 years and running lead for most of that time. I can run baits from 5' to 50' without changing anything and anyone that spends time on anyone of the Missouri River reservoirs will tell you how much these fish can move from one break line to...

Jp said he was consistantly pulling 20lb bags when it was flat out.. The fish from down south look totally different from the fish around mobridge. If those guys get those fish to go south it will be tough for anyone north but it's fishing so you never know

The same size fish are considerably heavier down south and the overs are more abundant.. 19" way south is 3lbs compared to 2.5lbs here if he's healthy, that's huge in a slot tourney! - - - Updated - - - I've been watching this morning and not one boat came north of Locke, which isn't real...

Was at the weigh ins .. Chad was at the pillars yesterday and today but sounded like people moved in on him and he had to scramble for a limit .. Local wade while had a giant 18lb bag, really impressive considering it's a slot tourney .. Okada, blosser and several others are running all the way...

Slot on Oahe can only have two over 20, that's why they're so critical and could see quite a bit of flip flopping tomorrow..consistent overs have been tough for 3 weeks!

Didn't surprise me at all...about exactly what I thought it was gonna be...its been extremely tough for weeks....10-11lbs to make the cut....these weights are consistent with the whittlocks, sd gov cup and sd classic and the Pollock tourney...
