Favorite deer rifle

I bought a Rem 700 270 WSM after college, that was my go to rifle until recently. Taken maybe a dozen deer and an Elk with it. While it has its issues with ammo cost and loading, what an exceptional deer killer that gun was, (most of the time) BANG FLOP.

Recently switched to a 308 for less recoil and cheaper loads. While its not a sexy as a 3200 FPS 270 WSM, that 308 is one accurate SOB.

Try loading 130gr TTSX's at 3200fps in your .308, and you'll feel plenty sexy.
