Watched the renter seeding corn up by the farmsted. It don't take long with 24 row planter. Far cry from when my dad used a 2 row JD and checked the corn so you could cultivate both ways. How time flys.

A little safety tip for you guys that have been going hard since you started. Here’s what happens when you fall asleep at the wheel. 99FA7BF5-423E-4DEC-8F78-E6BBBDB8F87F.jpg Thankfully the farmer was unhurt, other then he had trouble unpuckering his ass.

34 small grain fields and 1 pea field.were emerging between Minot and Williston yesterday. 30 small grain fields we're emerging between Minot and Lignite today. There's still a fertilizer shortage, but as gears change to edible beans and soys, the shortage will soften. Seems.like.morw anhydrous is being used this year than previous years. I looked at NDAWN lat night and at 10cm the soil moisture content was 9% at 50cm moisture was 6%. Permanent wilting point for that soil is about 15%, so we need rain. I'd say 2/3 of the fields out this way are planted.
