I haven't started, a few guys in the area started seeding the last few days. I'm sure that was wheat or barley. Some places I don't think the frost is completely out yet. North Central part of the state.

Some are starting to scratch. I am sure next week the bid rumble will start.

In south central ND, mine is in. I'm custom seeding for others now. This nasty wind lately has sure dried things out. Was filling seed on a wind turbine pad and those blades were singing.

Everyone is going full tilt, products are really low in supply, our DFC is officially out of anhydrous. With the late spring and dry conditions we've been going for damn near two weeks straight without any stoppages, it's dry as hell and if we don't get some moisture there's gonna be a lot blowing especially for the geniuses that put bean on bean.

Lincoln, kinda...
Uffda, putting bean on bean, or any crop needing deeper soil moisture to carry them through July is quite the gamble this year.

Started Wednesday afternoon. Lots of moisture now, but if the wind keeps blowing that will be gone. The peas I planted Thursday are already plumped up n soft, ready to sprout I the next few days I'm guessing if the soil temp climbs a bit.

started seeding oats yesterday. Even beat some of the farmers getting in the field around here along the border.

Beans are one of the crops that have some potential so lots going in. A gamble is putting a crop that doesn;t pencil out a profit in hoping the market jumps.

Pick your poison.

went from williston to devils last weekend to set up camp for the summer... was dead dry from tioga to devils with the only green where the snow was pushed off on the shoulder or the center of the ditch where water was still standing...

was on western lake sak today and the countryside is brown in most places...

i know the farmers need to get the crop in, but a 3 day soaker would make everyone smile...

Anyone got ammonia tankers for hire?

Heard Enerbase in Minot is having trouble getting product and many anhydrous truckers are not in State yet.

Was planting alfalfa all day putting it in the dry dirt. Doesn't matter to that seed. It will lay there until it rains. Buku legumes/grass going in after $140 dollar ton hay last year.
