How popular is the Bassmasters around here? I thought I read that they had a crowd of 175,000? That is crazy! I almost feel like I should get into it even though I am not much of a bass guy.

There was an event on Oahe last year out of Mobridge I think, not sure what kind of crowds they had. Also remember that this event was the Superbowl of bass fishing which is why the crowds were a lot bigger and just the fact that bass fishing in general has a much larger audience the corwds and money are bigger than walleye.

The one in Mobridge sparked my interest. It was LIVE on TV with cameramen in most boats. The biggest reason I was curious was watching them run the live sonar. I was curious as to how they were aiming their transducer. It seemed they had it on the trolling motor somehow. They searched for fish and casted to them.
