It has been many years since there. Was a nice resort run by Bill and Shirley Andrus. Later Mark Slater former Philadelphia Eagle Center and his wife ran it. Drought took its toll and has been closed for many years. We shore fished early in the year with smelt and caught some northerns with an occasional decent sized fish. Little Missouri feeds the area. After a heavy rain it can be very muddy. Going down the channel towards the lake is many areas to fish walleyes and northerns early in the year. Can be excellent at times. The water is warmer.
Welcome to nodak angler Alex. For starters as a new guy on here you are suppose to answer a few questions. #1- how do you feel about boobies and beer? #2- how do you feel about sconies? If I was you I would go and catch yourself a few creek chubs in the Antelope creek and try them out. Those lively little fellas usually get good results. You will want to get there kind of early to get a decent spot. I believe that you can't stay there after dark so if planning on drinking I would recommend leaving before the game and fish kicks you out at dark. If my other plans fall through and it isn't to windy this weekend I would join you guys.
last spring we were in the boat around that area and the white bass and pike were pretty abundant, have you fished lake ilo at all sw of town, I know the creek and lake used to be pretty good a few years back for slimers.
