I like the car wash next to Hardees , what is up with the employees at the fast food restraunts in dvl? Are 90% on work release or is face tattoos required? best restaurant is the cedar inn. home cooking and most of the time faster than the fast food places.

Yes love me some cedar Inn, good food. I don't know what's it right if use GF for an example. There has been at least three different restaurants in the building next to the outback steak house on 32nd. Hardeez on Demers and Washington has had a few turn around. OK coral is gone not sure if something else moved in, Applebee's in DL is busy most nights, but change is good. I hear some fast food places ( not sure) are coming into the new CHS gas station. Workers will always be an issue in small communities like devils lake. Even GF restaurants have a high turnaround. IHOP, Mexican Village, or Sports Bar like Buffalo Wild Wings.

face tattoos required?

ba ha ha - yes

nothing says "your satisfaction is very important to me" like tear tattoos

I get more of a "hey, I got nothing to lose - piss me off and you'll be eating special sauce that came from somewhere in my body" feeling when I see face tats

- - - Updated - - -

this forces me to smile and say "yes please" a lot to 19 year olds

on that subject... wtf is wrong with people these days? no respect for their own body? i can understand a tat or two. or an ear piercing i guess. you can always undo most piercings. but, how's about the new ear hoop fad? i can only imagine that that damn hole in their ear is permanent, right? imagine how fucking dumb that hole is gonna look at the age of 70. frankly, i doubt most em them will make it to even close to 70 without it being torn. given the folks that they are likely to associate with, simple odds are that one of their "friends" is gonna reach out and give it a tug sometime in the next 5 decades. maybe i am being to pessimistic.

The other evening when a buddy and I were out in my mancave solving all life's ills over a few busch lites, we came to the following conclusion... work with me here folks...busch lites were flowing really good but still think we are on to something here.
1. Way back when..there was ONLY the golden arches..and only in certain larger towns..think of that you youngsters out there. No Hardee's no Arby's, No pizza ranches, subways, domino's, burger kings. kfc, taco johns.taco bell.nutting...not even food at C-Stores..heck..there weren't even C-Stores. I.t was a TREAT to travel to the nearest town with a McD's.
2. This was back in the baby boomer generation..aka lots and lots of high school age kids that if they wanted to work..which we did..the Arches was THEE place to not only hang out at but also work..it was cool..and you damn well better be on time or not goof off or you would be replaced..and..keep that uniform clean son! And you did it..cuz there were like tons of kids that didn't get hired that wanted/needed a job. The one I started at didn't even have breakfast right away...or a drive thru for that matter..
3. There was no smart phones, cell phones, bag phones, heck...not even voice mail, call forwarding, answering machines...heck.. any phones in the house were attached to the wall.
4. No ipads, laptops, desktops.
5. Then comes the next generation..just like it always does.. but this next generation had less population in that age bracket..this..when competitors of the golden arches starting sprouting up..hardees, bk, dq, arbys subway etc.
6. This led to more and more competition for less and less numbers of young workers.
7. This led to more complancency..sorry..but its true..ie...if johnny doesn't feel like working one day...he just won't show up as he is pretty much guaranteed of getting a job down the street at one of the now many competitors if he is terminated.
8. With all this extra competition and more and more restaurants..it isn't that big a deal anymore to work at any one or another.
9. Bring on the computer age..that and more sports available to both sexes and the workforce number drop even further so
customer service starts to suffer as there just aren't that many to choose from.
10. Fast forward to the now millennial generation and there are even less numbers of young people and those that are looking do not see a fast food job as one they would accept..That isn't saying anything bad...its just that's the way it is.
11.. Busch lite number 6 or 7 were going down about now.
12.So where are we now?? A very large number of restaurants around the country that cannot find enough numbers of employees to fully staff their restaurants and thus service, and cleanliness suffers..not enough people working.
That's our .02..or way more than .02
I need to pick up some more Busch light in the morning.

Partially true, you forgot the "everyone gets a trophy, my kid can do no wrong," and 50% of kids now days don't have a dad.
Political correctness plays a huge effing role too, which all of what I added pretty much equals the Democrat party Platform. That's right liberalism/socialism is destroying 'Merica.
Can't wait for my perfect kids to

#10. Most kids these days don't want a job period. Others have valid reasons because of sports throughout most of the year, but still. Know a lot of kids who never have even had a part time summer job until after college, and most of em have a poor work ethic. If I was hiring someone right out of college and one had a really good gpa but has held no previous job vs one who had an average gpa, but various jobs/promotions since they were 15. I'm gonna hire the one that has job experience, regardless of it it directly relates to job or not. Work is work. People who don't want to work want things handed to em. Kinda like liberals.:;:muahaha

Arrested a 24 year old male yesterday but nothing else has been posted. The three earlier suspects have been questioned and all three stated they were at the strip club.

Strip club in DL? How's the quality there? Can't imagine much good to come out of there?
