I have seen the one young gentleman at a local restaurant. I think he was with him mom..I guess I don't know about his condition as I just saw him sitting. The other young gentleman is in a long term care unit in Minneapolis area that deals with brain injuries. I guess he has had his ups and downs. From what I understand, it could be some time before he is out of the woods...if ever. If anyone else knows more, please weigh in.

I am friends with the one that was released a month or so after the accident. He is doing well considering how banged up he was. Still has a surgery ahead of him dealing with nerve issues in his left arm. Definitely a life changing experience, he is hoping to be able to go back to work after this nerve surgery. He and Tom continue to be very good friends, no ill will towards the circumstances. This guy has had a very positive attitude and has said they are all to blame, not one person individually.

Very glad to hear your friend is recovering. Do you know the other guy who was hurt and his condition?

Take a step back from the computer you, we all have done stupid things including driving under the influence. Yes whatever sentence he (driver) will get will have nothing on the pain he will have to live with for the rest of his life. I hope the driver never touches a drop of booze ever to live each day with the intent that I will be an example for all my friends and family. The parents of the girl who died, I hope that God has been able to comfort their sorrow and be able to forgive this man for his life long torment. It takes a good man to forgive someone else's trespasses.

I don't think he'll be drinking for quite awhile. I don't think they serve booze in prison. drugs maybe but not booze

Holy shit who writes an article and says hammered. Makes me wonder if it was one of us from NDA.

Hi, welcome to the areas most unpolitically correct news source that's about to put Minot on blast and discuss the real issues. The rollercoaster is just beginning. Politically correct, that's for panzies.

How ya like this weeks dumbest criminal category lol

Nobody going to comment on him getting the easy road out? 2 years for killing 1 person and severely injuring 2 others because he was "hammered"? Cmon! His sentence should be a lot more than that. Kinda makes me want to get hammered, pick up some strangers at the bar, and go crash into a church packed with people. Probably only get 4 weeks for that...
