Ban on lead bullets

I picked this up on nodakoutdoors today. Has anyone found information? How soon would this take affect? Can Trump reverse it right away since it's an executive order? Right now I have more questions than information, but thought I would throw it out there for people to start searching.

I thought it was "fake news" when I read the Obama administration issued a ban on his last day in office to ban the use of lead ammo on all federal lands. Unfortunately, it's not fake news and very frustrating that this action is taken with little warning or input. I hope there is enough pressure from the sporting public to have the new administration overturn the legislation.

It's not just bullets this would likely ban jigs and any other lead fishing tackle from any Corp controlled property. The law though will get torched by trump especially with the organization that represents state wildlife departments coming out extremely strongly against it.

Oboy that would be neat! Just think of the long range capabilitys of steel bullets! And I wonder if it will have the same affect as it has with waterfowl hunting. Just wound a bunch of birds and let them fly away instead of it being lethal....
