No you are talking about limiting technology correct? My point is that all of what I listed is at some point is considered a form of technology and I am proposing that all should be removed from competition. The evolution of 2D down sonar to find depth and suspended fish below you then being able to see more detail down, then being able to see horizontal from a boat, the advancement of GPS and electronic maps with the capability to mark spots to return perfectly to vs aligning shoreline landmarks. These are all developed to help catch more fish more easily and are no different in their day than FFS is now.Not anywhere in my reply did I say take away mapping capability.... Shit, I doubt any of those young guns even know how to use or interpret a paper conventional map. Anyone that has still has a crinkled up red Gazeteer in their vehicle knows what I'm talking about.
A single common denominator among people talking about FFS once it became mainstream? The first thing everyone would laugh about whether online, at the boat ramp or local fishing pro at Scheels someone always says - "FFS is amazing but its no longer "fishing" its "catching".
I say take it all away from tournament anglers, they don't even get to practice with any of it.
