I just don’t think the general population has the stomach for it. Most will give them up

Agreed jiffy,my last hunting trip to Canada, been years, Saskatchewan locals told us the ministry passed a law residents had to register firearms and store them secured and all ammunition had to be stored elsewhere in the house and residents were subject to government spot checks. Don't know about today,no interest to visit Canada, getting back in to our country seems to be a hassle unless you have a passport.
