He is right, but he would have been more effective if he spoke more professionally. In this setting I am afraid that because of his profanity few will take him serious. That's a shame he was evidently an intelligent man. One problem with his talk is that ten feet would not take out the southern United States. It would take 900+ feet to take out Phoenix, and Phoenix is actually very low in elevation. About the same as our Red River Valley.

What is the conversion of 1ft of elevation how many surface feet it covers?

I don't think you need to convert. Two thirds of the planet is water, but if the oceans rise ten feet then it only floods to the ten foot elevation it only floods to the ten foot elevation. The Red River isn't one percent of North Dakota, but if it's ten feet above flood stage it covers a lot of the valley. Ten feet is ten feet.

Watch some of his other videos and interviews he is like this all the time calls it the way it is, after watching a few its kind of annoying in the way of his big headed attitude but nothing but truths like it or not.

all cussing aside his point is totally valid. if the lending institutions really believed this crap they wouldn't be lending money today. which brings up another point. when the liberals piss and moan about the U.S. stopping payments to foreign nations just tell them they aren't going to need it anyway because global warming is going to kill em.

I disagree with his reasoning. I would bet banks are taking this into account. Sea level rise is predicted for 50-100 years out well banks are lending on 20-40 year loans. Seems like a rather safe bet to me. I will just put this out there I am a biologist, a firm believer in humans impacts/manipulation on the planet. To me the climate debate is like to talking to someone who is against vaccination, they see what they want and make up their own conclusion that can not be changed, no sense arguing. That aside, listening to this guys passion had me going, yah I can see until I thought more about it. Sure ice cores have been shown that our planet was once hotter then it currently is, really there is no question of that, its more looking at the rate of change or predicted change. I have had a lot of discussion with friends and family about this topic, some support others dont. Always a fun conversation to have. I would like to think that maybe north dakota could benefit from some shifting global climate. There is no prediction that I have seen for how increased sea level, and changing ocean currents will affect the US. This could mean colder dryer conditions for us or milder wetter conditions, I hope for the latter!

Just my 2 cents, take it or leave it, not looking for any arguments

Now would be a good time to insert a mic drop gif

I should have listened to the whole thing but I only made it as far as when he said shut up and sit down . Eff that , the next persons opinion is just as important as mine even if I don't agree with it.

Easy Kurtr Phoenix isn't in the north and it was the only town that I remember their location. No big conspiracy.

Probably looking at a rise/run for how much 1ft of rise in water would cover.

I agree, he sounded like a smart guy, but profanity and yelling at people isn't helping his cause. Pretty sure if I went to an "event" like that, if the speaker wouldn't let me finish and told me to shut up and sit down, I would've walked out.

Very ineffective speaker. His tone and swearing turned me against him and I'm pretty much on the same side as him. Plus he didn't back anything up with facts. Just because bankers aren't sounding the alarm bells doesn't prove anything. They are as unsure about all of this as the next person and therefore aren't going to act on it one way or the other.

I'll leave it. I'm still waiting for the ice age your ilk promised in the seventies. Oh wait, maybe this is it!

I am afraid that speakers like this make points for the other side. Sort of like Ted Nugent. He says many things I agree with, but for people sitting on the fence he comes off so poorly that they move away from his point. Likewise with this guy. Usually so much cussing is an indication of a retarded vocabulary. Reminds me of the old cliché "better to keep ones mouth closed and let people think you stupid rather than opening it and removing all doubt".

I don't buy global warming. I also don't think this guy is on our side. He is out making us look like fools.

Trump got elected because he didn't give a crap about the people sitting on the fence. I'd rather talk to a guy that tells it like it is, rather than the limp dicked approach you guys want.
