best iphone 6 case for fishing?

I have the otter, but they don't float. Why is it when my phone falls out of my shirt pocket, hits the water, it must sink so fricken fast.

I think we need to develop the floating phone case, likely millions in this invention, and if we put a cool name on it people would pay twice as much.

Otters are protective but bulky. Check out the Lifeproof cases, thin and tough.

I had a lifeproof for a while. Everyone told me I sounded like I'm underwater over a phone call. So now my phone is naked and sits on the deck of the boat.

Put the phones in the glovebox and they can only be taken out for pics or vids. No texting or calls while fishing. There isnt time to screw around on the phone.

This does not always work. Had my phone zipped in a "dry" compartment on a little cooler bag this weekend and one of the kids on the pontoon manged to dump it in the lake anyway.

I hear you, D.M. I peeled off the rubber diaphragm from the inside of the case that sits over the microphone. Now it is not waterproof, but I never planned on taking pics or videos underwater anyway, but it sounds way better.
