Heading out to hopefully stick a good one. What's your choice of broadhead for big game? Fixed or mechanical? I've always shot mechanical for deer. Always seems to fly true and don't need much for tuning.

I shot rage for a couple years always had good luck with them and great blood trails. But always worried about them not opening up so I went back to a fixed blade muzzy. They fly good. I don't think it makes a difference what blade u shoot if u make a good shot the animal will die quick.

Rages for me. Have had good luck with them so far. Been shooting them for 3 years now.

They changed the rages a bit. Last year they had a rubber band to hold the blades in. Now the have a plastic cap. Not sure what to think.
