Yogi paid us a visit yesterday. Spent the afternoon eating leftover corn from my deer plot and napping before moving on. This is 20 miles NW of Fargo.

I'm seeing it.......I'd guess that's the same bear that's been spotted numerous times starting in SE ND making his way north. Last I'd heard was about two weeks ago Leonard.

Yeah I'm not expecting a response at all. There have been reports in SW Cass county earlier. A neighbor saw it heading north from our place. He was just passing thru but cool to see for me anyway. Closest I've been to a wild bear.

Neat video. It is actually not that terribly uncommon to see a bear out in this area that has wondered its way east. I used to work for a bee keeper for 5 years and he has had bear damage on hives as far away as Hope and Page area, boy can they make a mess.

G&F brought a trailer-load of them in from Ontario, they modified the Mt Lion trailer. I saw them while gassing up for an early morning pheasant hunt near Pembina.

On a far more serious note. Good job getting the video! Pretty cool to see critters you pretty much never think you'd see where you saw them. Maybe it's because we don't have lots of them nearby, but I think bears are a lot of fun to watch in the wild.

I don't remember where, but I saw a pic from an airplane of a bear up by Cavalier just in the past couple days as well.
