They are called pre black friday deals, the door buster deals dont start till friday after Thanksgiving

A lot of times many of their products are discounted because they are discontinued especially the early ice fishing apparel before the new line up comes out for 25-26 season.

Thanks for the heads up Allen, sometimes you just cant beat Amazon. Too bad 2 day prime is no longer a thing for most orders because i use amazon when ordering supplies and most orders are more then 2 days and you never know if the package is coming via ups or usps.

I think back in the day there used to be great deals..now its just flashy advertisement. I am sure there are still some good deals but seems like those deals listed are always around if you look. I will take part in the scotch method like KDM..

If you know what you want before November, then it pays to wait as your going to buy it anyways and good chance you can get it cheaper.......
other than that it just a lot of impulse buying, cant resist the deal kind of thing
That's my take on it all this, I do remember going to Menards back in the day for my bro in law to get a chop saw, was there at the opening bell, grabbed a cart and went to the ailse with the saw, grabbed the saw and turned around and my cart was gone....... I yelled "Hey that's my cart" and the lady just said "sorry" and just kept on trucking with my cart
That was the end of my showing up on black friday at the store....... can get most of the same deals online now
