Just wondering if you guys have a brand/place you go for laces for your hunting boots? Seems like I go through a set or two a year. Just looking for some that last

I always just buy whatever I can find quick and usually cheap. It does suck having to basically buy 2 pair when you get new ones because you know they won't last

Nothing like busting a lace when lacing up and you have no replacement...then you cut lose the four letter word.

Checkout Rhino Laces

Rhino Laces are 8 times stronger than steel by weight, maintain excellent dimensional stability in extreme hot or cold environments, have exceedingly low creep and very high fatigue resistance when compared to normal boot laces or paracord, have high resistance to breakdown from abrasion, acids, bases, flames, organic solvents, and salt water.
Rhino Laces utilize a para-aramid fiber core covered with a blended sheathing for even more protection and come in many colors and sizes to fit you and your boots perfectly.

You could also try the 1.8 or 2.3mm cord from Lawson equipment. This stuff is extremely strong and versatile, and will always have a spot in my pack.

I've had good luck with Red Wing laces that both come on the boots and that you can buy in store.

I use hockey skate laces, they come in orange and the waxed ones seem to hold knots better, not opening up while Im out walking, which is a PITA.

Kevlar laces, Duluth Trading Co. They'll last longer than the boots.

Most of the kids you see now with boots on, the lases are dragging behind them, they are to lazy to tie them

Bought my boots at the Red Wing store in Bismarck and both times I went in for laces the salesman handed me a pair and said no charge cause I bought the shoes there. Left me standing there with my mouth open. :;:rockit

Replace the stock laces with 550 cord. Usually in 2 different bright colors to embarrass who ever I’m hunting with when we go in public. Right now it’s lime green and blaze orange

Gartners has great laces. I think they used to call them railroad laces. Not cheap but they are worth it.

Laces should always be purple. I don't make the rules..
