I have white steel siding KDM I have to disagree with you. The brown stains they leave all over the outside of my house and inside are bothersome to clean. The stains are caused by box elder bugs, they are the enemy...

I agree I can't kill them all but it makes me very happy when there are piles of dead ones.

Since your a PHD can you tell me any negative effects of Tempo ??
was outside today and saw a wall covered in them. i remembered what you said and sure as shit, a bunch of small brown shit stains. had to be from them because the siding is only a couple weeks old. at first i wasnt happy but then i realized it wasnt the first time i had shit stains everywhere. so i just let them be.

Lincoln, kinda...
Was out last weekend chasing birds and the fella whose land I was hunting was out on his driveway killing boxelder bugs.

His chem of choice?

#2 diesel fuel

I figured I was not going to give him a hard time about it. It seems to work for him, plus...his cats don't eat the bugs once they've been hit with diesel.

Get about as oiled as a diesel train:

(want to get a belly full of beer: Still thinks he says "I've" instead of "we've" and "drink, drink a little shot of Jimmy Beam" instead of "sink a little drink and shout out she's with me") I could be wrong:
