God I hope they don't release the names of the hunters. After the whole Cecil the Lion shitshow, this could take it to a whole 'nother level. Why? I'll give you three reasons:

I read in a different article that he had bragged on FB that he was going to go out and specifically target that bear. So he basically named himself and brought this all on. I honestly can't say i feel to sorry for him when you purposely go online and stir up a hornets nest. He wanted attention, now he's getting it.

Only crappy thing is it spills out on ALL us hunters. One person's idiocy impacts the entire group.

So there was a black bear strolling around a neighborhood in New Jersey and no one thought he could be a danger to the public? I would have thought that the G&F , DNR or whatever they call themselves in NJ would have eliminated the bear themselves.

They have many many bears that frequent developments. If they killed all the bears that wander into housing developments they would have to kill damn near all of them. Not exactly a ton of wide open undeveloped areas in NJ.

If no laws were broken during the taking of this bear, this will just make the huggers look foolish..............AGAIN!!!!! However, to call attention to one's self with the express purpose of causing trouble is JUST as foolish. Dumbness on both sides!!!

If you watch any of the storys on this the main lady they interview must not be anti hunting because she brings up multiple times that it was the "good" hunters that let her know that the bar had been taken and by whom.
