What is the thought on this Deer. I believe it's a Doe being it's still in velvet. Both pictures were taken today.

Last pick looks like a very young short-nosed buck to me. Friend of mine killed the XXXXL version of that buck (very similar antler growth) a few years back. Can't come anywhere close to getting your hands around the bases and it was an enormous bodied older buck.

Young buck?
Hard to tell really kinda strange stunted rack but prolly no bearing on that. Picked up a fresh 4 point shed antler in nov back when. Had a concave base an still full velvet/bloody. 2.5 year old buck figured teste injury

Do they call it a Doe tag in SD? I was thinking in ND it was antlered and antlerless but I could be wrong, I don't hunt much.

My S D. tag says Doe. ( update, tag says anterless )

That is a good point .

I just looked at my 2nd Tag and it says Antlerless. So I can't shoot it and use my Doe tag even if it's a Doe.
