I would imagine that at some point we will get a few assholes here too. These websites are like a bar, it takes all types to make one interesting. People just need to learn who to avoid and ignore.

I think we are all here for the same reason. Vollmer created a great site and we can get back to sharing information, solving each others problems, maybe bitching a little and most importantly having fun.

Vollmer....can you round up some hot chicks to hang out on here?

Thats the really nice thing here is I think Vollmer will let us keep control for the most part. So its up to us to keep them out or limit the BS

Just noticed that Vollmer hasn't posted much today. I hope he is sleeping...poor bastard has lived on this site for 2 weeks going 24/7.

He started it and for that I'm grateful. It's now up to us to keep it viable, entertaining, and as Jackwagon free as possible. I'd like to see more of the "Old Guard" from the other site roll in and rebuild the Awesomeness of the past. We'll see how this plays out, but I know I like this place better than the other one so far.

We'll just have to nip the BS in the bud early. This site is for outdoorsmen. The politics section is at the bottom for a reason. Im almost tempted to give a 1 week ban to the 1st member to post a political topic in there haha. Kidding, I won't. But I will possibly not have those threads show in the activity feed. We'll see how it goes.

I love having a politics specific site. then the sissy's can't post "well this is an outdoors sight, don't post about politics". I frequent another site (non fishing, etc.) and they have a section called town square. anything goes in town square except direct attacks. Any other forums on that site there is a no tolerance to each specific forum.

Yeah, he just added that yesterday I believe. There is a lot to take in here although a lot of it is easy to figure out since the layout is close to other forums out there.

That awesomeness is what I built this for ... I've already gotten quite a few good laughs from you guys. Makes it all worth while.
