Little black carpenter ants have made it into my home. Have been finding a few of them each day for about a week now, usually in the dishwasher or on the kitchen counter. How do I get rid of them?? I’ve tried Tempo spray, Ortho home defense spray, traps, powder, vinegar - everything! Not sure how much pest control costs either. Any tips?? I have an infant son but no pets. All food is wrapped or in containers.

Did you spray Tempo on the outside foundation and a little way out from it on the ground? Like a firewall.

Heavy concentration of Dawn dish soap and water in a spray bottle I spray the entry way and the ground works well for my ant prob

Just be glad you don’t have plumber ants. Then little bastards walk around with butt cracks hanging out.

Mix honey with borax and set it out in their walking path. Then let it work for a few days, your ants should be gone.
