My first impression wasn't that great but I tried it again today and I was wrong the first time. put it in both fish and hot dogs in foil, finished the dogs off directly on the grill and put them back in the foil to suck up more juices . Both were superb in my opinion. I'll be buying more. Anyone else like it ?

It can't be worse than ordering a burger at a high end restaurant and chewing into a tough stringy piece of udder that gets stuck between your teeth.

I picked up a common brand of chorizo offered at local grocery stores and read the label.

Pork salivary glands were on the list of ingredients. I've tried many different foods in life under the "when in Rome..." philosophy, but being in ND I quickly put it back down.

I put chorizo in my smoked queso. The first time I made it, I got chorizo from Cash Wise that was made in house. It was really good but they haven't had it since. The stuff in tubes that you can get ant any store isn't that great in my opinion. 3BE has some pretty decent stuff that they make.

Valley Meats (pre meat co) used to have a seasoning packet for chorizo. Dump it in 25# of your ground butt or shoulder and you had some of the best meat you could make. I believe it was AC Leggs brand.

I just checked for a pulse, yup I'm still alive. :) My parents used to make head cheese and blood sausage back in the day and calf nuts. All sorts of stuff sounds gross but is edible, I'll share some of those with my grandkids right before dinner so they don't eat so much. haha
