Done. I'm not even going to fight it. I'm going to fire up a couple of hbo series and call it a weekend. I'm not even going to come in to work on Monday. Checking out.

In years past I have seen promotions by car dealers or jewelry stores stating "Anything you buy during this week (usually around Thanksgiving time frame) will be free, if it snows 10" (or around there) on Christmas day".

Anyone know of any this year?

everything I read now from multiple sources use the wording "growing confidence" "our models are starting to line up"" that we will be having a good ole snow storm again. saw on facebook that Mr sandstorm posted that favors western and central ND for the heaviest snow totals. it is from the NWS talks about the trough dropping into the rockies before climbing back to the north. the biggest question mark I see is not if it hits but when and how quickly it moves out is what the models are having trouble jiving on.

FML this is getting old

Definitely looks that way with that peacock tail there. I'm in total fuck it mode let's see what this thing can do although I probably should clear out some of the huge cornices i have off the roof before I add a few thousand more pounds of snow this weekend. I see MT has winter storm watch up and north west SD is now under blizzard watch so she's definitely starting to line up.

What I would really like to know is if the barometric pressure will be dropping rapidly Saturday or Sunday? I may pack up some blue num nums and venture out to the lake and try and fool some eyes and perch with the better half since we aren't going anywhere anyway.
