ive wondered that too dean.

the airport is the "official" measuring station in bis. I think there canbe quite a discrepancy in totals as KX on north side of town had 24.1" on hat big one and airport had 18.7". from if I add the 18.7 + 6.5 on that windy fkr, +3" on that one Friday/Saturday were low end pushing 30" high end 35"+

Yeah that's what I've basically been doing trying to add it up but we also get these little one inch shots and it makes it hard to keep up with over time. The weather service has been pretty crappy about storm totals as the storms go on let alone how much we have for the year so far this winter. Should have Allen go tell them to post up the numbers a bit more often for us weather bugs so we don't have to guess at it.

Light rainy mist down in the big town of Mott this morning. Definitely slippery out with it being 25 degrees out. Just checked the radar and it looked oks like in about an hour it hit here.

Not much around here yet have about a 1/8 inch of ice on everything and windy. Just got the generator running in case we need it. They are talking potential for a half inch of ice before it starts to snow.

Still just a cloudy mist here in Yates. Temp is 30°. Drove back to PKC an hour ago to get the wife, and the wind went down some, still from the east. She made me take back n forth today just in case. I'll probably have to do it again tomorrow if its possible, we'll see.

What really worries me is the ice and cloud moisture. Power lines could ice up dramatically and then with the wet snow and wind, lets pray the power poles hold.

from what the radio was reporting last week Bismarck had 31" for the year so far.

up here in the NW corner from what I can see out my door we got a dusting last night and have a bit of wind now.

on bright side pasta/veggie salad done, rolls done 1 pan rose too high and now have a sheet of bread (and yummy with real butter) ham is in the oven and taters will be peeled, steamed and mashed soon then its on to the stuffing and gravy.

The snow is just starting in NE bis. Maybe 2-3 mins of rain prior not much. Looks like NW of town Beulah, hazen area the.banding is heavier and snowing for longer already. The rain in SD is scary feel bad for them that could be a mess for awhile down there. I do Beleive bis will see plent Of snow when she's all said and done.

Yeah Just go under the model tab and click winter weather. Looks like it's going to get bad in Bismarck in the next hour as a big plum of moisture swings in.

Minot straight down piss pounded now. We didn't concentrate enough to achieve the Zen. Crap.

I'm becoming bored with the whores. They're texting the old man now and he's refusing to hook up the team. One of them looks sullen after a request to Belize had no effect. I will say I'm kinda getting into the pout...Anyways, whores and winter.

Well at noon it was raining, then at 1 ice pellets. About slipped on my azz on the steps. Its been snowing big flakes hard for an hour now. Got about 3in in an hour or less. Dog was out for 10 min and came in just covered.

Snowing hard in Minot right now...say there is already close to 2 inches on my deck already...might be wind induced tho!
